MLB recognizes Negro Leagues' stats; Phoenix family says, 'It's about time'

On December 16, Major League Baseball reclassified the Negro Leagues as a major league. They will acknowledge and count the statistics of its 3,400 players as part of its history.

The family of Ford Smith, a Negro League star from Arizona, reflect on his legacy and the impact of this overdue decision.
